When I first heard about Upper Room Tax Service I was surprised by the very reasonable fees that they charge compared to other tax preparers.
Since I am a “wise consumer” and live in New York City, and because I had investments in two other states, and many trades in the financial markets, I knew my tax return forms were not easy to do. A friend, an executive who worked at Goldman Sachs, suggested that I double check the return after the forms were done and make sure everything was done properly.
So after Upper Room Tax Service prepared and sent the finished tax returns to me for signature, I checked them myself and ALSO had the entire package reviewed by a most highly qualified tax preparer I knew who worked for many years for one of the oldest, wealthiest, and most ethical families in NYC. (That person was part of a team that day in and day out, all year, handle taxes and even represent the family at audits where the IRS or state tax authorities question any numbers on the forms.) He said that the tax forms prepared for me by Upper Room Tax Service were entirely correct and he made zero changes!
I now love to have my taxes done by Upper Room Tax Service because they do such a great job AND because they charge such reasonable fees!
